In the west, we are often inclined to think of health care and good health coming from a physical outlook. Our bodies, their parts, (and how they are functioning), usually with a focus based around food and exercise, tend to be the motivation of wellness and care. Cleanses, or detox programs have become increasingly popular in health culture and the emphasis on extreme eating (or lack there of), supplemental nutritional products and austere practices are often attention grabbers. The attention received often gets played out in two ways.
