Fat Burning Jersey Shore Workout

I have a confession to make – I love the Jersey Shore! At first, I was very negative towards the show. In fact, I didn’t even watch the first season. But, once the second season start, I just had to figure out what everyone was raging about.

The premise is simple. In fact, it’s not a new concept – put a whole bunch of strangers into a house and see what happens. I grew up MTV’s The Real World, and similar shows. Which is why I just rolled my eyes and said, “Same old, same old.”

However, Jersey Shore takes it to a different level of wackiness. You’re thrusted into a world that you can’t even imagine. You’re left scratching your head, trying to figure out what level these people are on.

If you haven’t seen the show, check it out. It’s ridiculous.

Anyways, while watching the show, you can actually workout. In fact, many people have started working out BECAUSE of the Jersey Shore. For those that don’t know, three of the four male cast members have six pack abs.

The most famous abs are by Mike “The Situation.” This dude even released an ab training DVD!

So I came across this really cool workout you can do while watching the Jersey Shore:

Using a deck of cards isn’t a new idea. But it’s a great idea to do deck of cards while watching your favorite show!

Here’s my version of the workout:

  • Spades = Lunging Movement (Forward Lunge, Reverse Lunge, etc)
  • Hearts = Stability Ball Movement (Stabilty Ball Leg Curl, Stability Ball Jacknives, etc)
  • Clubs = Abdominal Movements (Plank Pushups, Elephant Side Plank, etc)
  • Diamonds = Pushups movements (Pushups, Decline Pushups, etc)

It’s going to be mostly bodyweight training, but you can add weights if you desire. However, if your goal is to really get a physique like the Jersey Shore, then you need something much harder.

John Romaniello, the guy who introduced the Jersey Shore deck of cards routine, has a great workout out right now. And as you can tell, he looks like he could walk onto the Jersey Shore show and make it big.

John probably has better abs than Mike “The Situation.”
