Canadian IFBB Pro Regan Grimes made a splash into the bodybuilding industry as a pro at only 23-years-of-age. Two years later, Grimes is heading for his Olympia debut in Classic Physique.
Grimes started out as a promising pro bodybuilder in the open division under the wing of Chris Aceto. In 2017 he took 2nd place at the Vancouver Pro, and 5th place a Wings of Strength Chicago Pro, plus a 5th place at Tampa Pro the same year.
In addition to his potential Grimes got an offer to move to Kuwait and be part of the “Camel Crew” of Oxygen Gym, wich he also accepted. While he was in Kuwait, he put on a tremendous amount of mass quickly 25lbs in one week was mentioned.
However, after months went by he began to miss his family and girlfriend. The young Canadian also thought about if the size game really was something he wanted to pursue. In the later years the bodybuilding industry has seen serious cases where prominent bodybuilders actually has passed away in regards of taking their physiques to the highest level.
In any case. Grimes finally decided that he wanted to get back to Canada and ended the collaboration with Bader Boodai and his team.
The Canadian didn’t quit on competing, instead he made a choice to switch division to Classic Physique. Grimes also began working with his former coach Chris Aceto again.
It was a successful choice. The Canadian won his debut at the New York Pro in May this year. Since then Grimes has been working to improve his physique further. Because now he’s heading to Las Vegas in 5 weeks to battle it out with the best in the division at the Olympia.
