Smelling fresh all day is a high priority for me! Sweaty, stinky trainer- NO THANK YOU! On my green/natural beauty journey I was keen to replace my normal perfume (I always wore typical commercial scents like Versace, Gucci, Marc Jacobs, Chanel & Dolce & Gabbana) with one that was free from synthetic preservatives, fragrances, colourants or raw materials derived from mineral oils. You may already know I love Weleda’s range of skin care and beauty so they were my first choice to hunt down a perfume. A big plus was the price! At $25 I was more than happy to try it out. Most of my regular perfumes start at $80!
I went for the Sea Buckthorn fragrance which is a fresh, energetic fragrance, with the vitality of grapefruit and mandarin and rich notes of sandalwood. I’d used the body wash previously and loved the scent so decided to try it in the natural perfume.
The bottle is lovely too, slimline and fits well into my travel makeup bag much better than most perfumes. The scent is long wearing for a natural perfume. Some scents simply don’t last.
This scent has been handcrafted by Weleda’s in-house perfumery using only high-quality essential oils sourced directly from Weleda’s fair trade partnerships. This captivating fragrance is free from phthalates or any synthetic chemicals.
Mandarin: sunny, fruity sweet
Grapefruit: tingling freshness, inspires and awakens the joy of life
Sandalwood: precious gently, ensures a soft touch
For over 90 years Weleda has developed a unique range of sophisticated scent compositions, from 100% natural essential oils. Each fragrance is crafted to bring you joy, with loving care and deep understanding of nature.
My suggestion is to jump on their site and sign up to their subscriber list so you can stay notified of sales (they always have great savings and a lot of the time a free gift with purchase!). Without a doubt i’ll be purchasing again and I’m keen to try their Rose scent.
