Company Receives Award, Will Present at 2018 AAD Meeting

Burt’s Bees, a leading provider of personal care products committed to providing natural health and beauty solutions, has announced that they will present clinical data on their Sensitive Skin care line at the 2018 American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Annual Meeting

Their Sensitive skin care line has also been awarded the National Eczema Association (NEA) Seal of Acceptance, which maintains rigorous standards for approval.

The Sensitive skin care line includes Burt’s Bees Sensitive Facial Cleanser, Burt’s Bees Sensitive Eye Cream, Burt’s Bee Sensitive Daily Moisturizing Cream and Burt’s Bees Sensitive Night Cream.

Burt’s Bees plans to feature the NEA Seal on product packaging, and will present clinical data on its Sensitive skin care line in a poster session at the 2018 American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) Annual Meeting, which will be held in San Diego, CA from February 16-20, 2018. Posters will be available onsite from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. (PST) each day of the conference.

The posters will focus on results of recent studies comparing the effectiveness of a nature-based skincare regimen and a synthetic, dermatologist-recommended control regimen for people with diagnosed sensitive skin, perceived sensitive skin and those with sensitive skin related conditions, including atopic dermatitis/eczema, rosacea or cosmic intolerance.

National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance

The NEA Seal of Acceptance helps individuals recognize products that are suitable for care of eczema or sensitive-skin. Products eligible for the NEA Seal of Acceptance are those that have been created or intended for use by persons with eczema or severe sensitive skin conditions and that have satisfied the NEA Seal of Acceptance criteria. The NEA Seal of Acceptance criteria includes the review of testing data on sensitivity, safety and toxicity, as well as ingredients, content, and formulation data.
