At a price of 5000 euros (6800 dollars) per kilogram, the honey “Elvis” from Turkey is the most Expensive of its kind in the world, writes Oddity Central.
This special honey is produced in a 1800-meter Cave near the town of Artvin in the Sarikair Valley, located in northeastern Turkey.
Elvis is so expensive because it is produced in the most natural way possible. The rich in minerals cave enriches extra honey. Years ago the locals noticed that the cave had bees, which led them to think that there might be honey inside. With the help of professional climbers, they go downstairs and discover 18 kilograms of honey, located on the spherical walls of the cave.
