Wuhan Coronavirus Covid-19 Wrong therapy killing people

A major problem with medical care today is the failure to realize just how primitive the state of the art is. While doctors seek to have the latest and most advanced equipment, they fail to see that this is a major part of why so many people are dying unnecessarily from Covid-19. It is actually the state of the art respirators that are dealing the final death knell to many.

The process of intubation can occasionally be helpful in some cases but in the case of this novel Coronavirus, it is a disaster looming for the unsuspecting patient. The problem is that while trying to resolve a serious problem, it is going about it in the wrong way, so wrong that it actually increases the risk of death in patients with Covid-19 caused ARDS.

The current state of the art respirator uses positive airway pressure to inflate the lungs which can in some cases be helpful but the problem here is that due to the swelling of inflammation in the alveoli of the lungs, the capillaries surrounding the alveoli are restricted, reducing the circulation of blood through them in addition to reducing the exchange of oxygen and CO2.

When the positive pressure is applied, the lungs expand which is desired, however, in the process of this expansion, the lower parts of the lungs are compressed against the diaphragm as well as against the chest wall. The problem here is that instead of helping, this further restricts the flow of blood and the exchange of Oxygen. It also adds to the inflammation, only worsening the situation. The longer that this continues, the lower the chance of survival for the patient.

Adding to the issue is that using a positive air pressure changes the dynamics of gas exchange. The increased pressure reduces the exchange of CO2 and then the remaining CO2 in the RBCs prevents the uptake of Oxygen by the RBCs. The blood and subsequently, the cells of the body become Oxygen starved in addition to the blood becoming more acidic from the increased CO2 levels. The increased acidity can also cause damage to the internal organs, especially to the kidneys.

Fortunately, there is a more ancient and almost long forgotten device that while cumbersome, is more conductive to a natural respiratory process. During the days when polio was far more common, the respirator of choice was the iron lung. It is not glamorous so today's so called 'modern doctors' are not interested and pay it no heed or consideration. After all, it is primitive, right?

The difference is that the iron lung uses negative pressure to pull the diaphragm away as well as slightly expanding the chest wall which simulates a more natural method of respiration. This way, air is pulled into the lungs in response to expansion rather than the reverse where the lungs are expanded due to a increased pressure.

The net result of this method is that the circulation is aided by the movement of the diaphragm rather than hindered by increased pressure against it. The lower levels of capillary restriction will increase the exchange of Oxygen and CO2 at the interface with the alveoli.

Even more important than the issue of the ARDS is the idea of preventing the illness from advancing that far.

It is the modus operandi of the medical industry to look towards pharmaceutical drugs and they are absolutely moving in that direction, disregarding some potentially life saving technologies. The medical experts ( expert = 'one who used to spurt' ), always refer to such things as 'unproven technologies', always hiding behind this guise.

The FDA has approved processes for destroying bacteria, virus, and other microbes in food and drink using electrical pulses. The issue is that when processing thousands of gallons of juice, a large pulse is needed. Researchers frequently state in their discussions, that while large pulses were used, it is possible to use lower levels of pulses over extended periods of time.

There are electronic devices that actually offer some of this capability. There are a range of these devices from simple rudimentary units to some highly technical versions that are far more capable. Imagine being able to take a serious case of Covid-19 and within a few hours with the application of LVPEF technology ( Low Voltage Pulsed Electric Fields ), and quickly reduce it to the level of a mild cold. A successful application could eliminate or reduce the need for any kind of respiratory assistance device. The problem here is that the medical industry is not interested in such and in reality would completely reject it as a threat to their profits.

ParaZapper is a technical leader in this field and easily demonstrated their ability to destroy microbes in a water based environment. ParaZapper does not currently offer medical devices for such purposes but their standard designs can be readily adaptable for such use in an emergency situation. While LVPEF is not yet approved for use in the medical field, it is basically safe as it is less powerful than a TENS unit which is readily available.
