Doctors in Delta State have battled to remove a weave-on stuck in a woman’s face. This happened after a Fight with her sister.

The incredible incident occurred after the sister stabbed her in the face with a broken piece of Glass. Apparently, the weave-on happened to be in the way and got embedded with the piece of glass in the woman’s eye socket. This left her permanently blind in one eye.

Note that when trying to perform first aid in such situations, one should not attempt to remove an embedded object. This is because you can damage blood vessels, nerves and tissues in the process of pulling the object out. Best is to leave such objects and take person to the hospital immediately.

Doctors had to use forceps to pull out the glass and hair extension after injecting the area with local anaesthetic. Afterwards, they stitched the area.
