[00:00:16] Good Morning and welcome to MorningCoach. Today I am so glad you’re with us. As you know my name is J.B. Glossinger and this is your personal evolution system, thee place to get your day started right.
[00:00:29] Welcome, welcome, welcome.
[00:00:31] I’m so glad you’re with me today as we get ready to put some great energy out there. I held that note for a little while I think Matt Kramer would be proud of me my vocal coach as we did the good morning but we’re excited that we got some great things happening.
[00:00:44] It is the first week of the year and being the first week of the year means we’re getting Organized and we’re getting structure and focus and I love all the assessments coming in moving people into different levels and just having fun. This has just been so much fun this year and I’m having a blast. I’m getting ready to pack up doing some checklists and Evernote so that when I travel I have the right things. I’ve got a bunch of new gear coming in and I’ve got a zoom H6 so I can do some interviews and some different recording outside of the office here starting to do some new blogging putting some new videos up on YouTube. [00:01:33] I don’t know if you can tell but boy is this a lot of fun for me and working,
[00:01:37] I’m working hard. A lot of long days but man this isn’t work right now.
[00:01:44] This is just total joy in seeing the transformation and the help that we’re giving people and today we’re talking a little bit about the financial aspect of New Year’s and what I mean by that is the financial New Year is the fact that we can start to get organized and we can really get our finances organized. Now if money is not an issue for you and there’s a lot of people who are mourning go to that hey they got their finances in order. It’s OK. Take some of these things put them in your tool box and maybe think about them in a different way. This is not just about finances but it’s also about getting a little bit organized. So if money is an issue for you, let me give you some suggestions. Number one I would get in the Financial Group. We have a financial group that I’m working to guide people in there and help them. That’s a secret group for Level 2 and above, and that’s something that I want to help everybody in that group to get some ideas to create some more finances. That group is really about organization but we are getting into income a little bit because there are people that are struggling with income. The second thing I would do is the wealth 101 course in MorningCoach. Again that’s part of your membership, part of Level 2. Just do the spending journal for as much as you can.
[00:02:57] I know it kind of gets tough sometimes but then start building your spreadsheet so you really are organized when you come in the group and we can talk a little bit, specifically when we get into Level 4 that’s really going to be about manifesting now when we talk about manifesting a lot of times, we think it’s about wealth and about money. It’s going to be a big part of it but we’re also going to talk about manifesting great relationships and great health and everything else that encompasses manifesting in level 4. So right now I need you to get really organized and then we’ll come up with some ideas in that group. So we do have a resource that if you’re struggling financially maybe you’ve got a little bit of debt maybe you’re trying to figure things out maybe you’re trying to create a little bit of income, you can get into that group and we can talk a little bit and all you have to do is make sure you e-mail me at [email protected] to get the information in case you’re not in that group yet to deal with your finances even if your finances are going great. A couple of things that we need to do. We need to review your financial goals. What are your financial goals, What are the things that you’re looking to attain and what are we going to do this year. Again even if your finances are great are we looking for double digit growth or are we looking for a little bit of growth. Do we understand our investments and that’s what I was going to say here. Are you having an investment review, are you checking new things out.
[00:04:14] I play in volatile markets you know that, and I was giving Bitcoin a hard time and I know Tania’sin it, and we got some great Morning Coachers Tanya in Australia are doing some cool MLM’s that are involved with bitcoin.
[00:04:26] It’s not that I’m given a hard time it’s just got to be your passion and in full disclosure I bought a bunch of theorium, which I like a theorium, it’s open source a couple months ago and it’s like tripled it’s like tripled, and so I’m doing pretty good in those markets but that’s money that it’s that I’m not dependent on. OK it’s just that’s my day trade money so I have a bulk of money that I trade that’s very volatile and I’m in it because it’s in it for the game of it. It’s not, In fact it’s more like gambling than investing in full disclosure. That’s what it is. OK but that’s part of wealth right. So you’ve got some high risk things that bring some return back and then you’ve got some conservative investments. But the big thing is if you are in, and we’re talking about finances to start the year just getting your mindset to start to think like an investor, are you buying some stocks, do you have a 401k, are you starting to set up a retirement.
[00:05:19] Even if you don’t have a lot of money even 20 to 50 bucks a month that you’re putting an investment starts to get you thinking like you are creating wealth, and you are, so it’s just getting the mindset differently is what my big thing is on Fridays and this being Friday is really the first Friday of the month is how do rich people think, where is the investment, how do wealthy people think, and I’m talking more about the financial side not about success and all the other areas that we talk about but getting yourself thinking that way is important and if you are there then you know your investments you know kind of where’s your energy going you know where am I going to put my money this year and what are the things I want to invest in. That’s what we need to understand. The next thing we need to do is we start our financial new year is to discuss our career, where we at. What are we doing. How are we going to add value to our corporation or do our job. What can we do to generate more revenue, and maybe it’s time to start thinking about an ILD Business. ILD is a course that I put out every year for 2000 dollars. It’s part of your morning coach membership. The last year’s version, it’s in the area. Now here’s the deal. I wouldn’t be doing a bunch of different courses if you’re struggling financially right now for the next 90 days. I would do the wealth course do about 30 minutes a week. But then if you’re not if things are going good and your thinking well JB I want to build an ILD business and if you’ve never heard me talk about an ILD business, what an ILD businesses is, using you’re intelligent to really design a business around the things you want to do and the fun things you want to do, this to me is an ILD business because I absolutely love it. It’s a life design business because this is how I generate my revenue.
[00:06:57] I generate my revenue by building level’s, by putting curriculum together and helping people change their lives, and that’s what I’d love to do. So if you have something like that that you want to do maybe it’s time to get started. Now remember it took me five years before I found any profitability made any money at all. I went totally broke. So you have to make sure you maintain that career you maintain your business while you build an ILD life for some of you you’re in MLM’s, It’s what are you going to recommit to this year. How are you going to prospect, How are you going to create that duplication, who’s your up line who’s your support. Basically what I’m saying is it’s time to get a review this weekend and today kind of what is your career what are some things you can do. Set some goals for your career to advance and what are some things you can do with your ideal business, your MLM or whatever business that you’re working. What can you do to structure that out, for me I’m heading over to Austin Texas on Sunday and I’m meeting with an amazing group of people to really kind of think about some of the structuring and things that I’m going to do. I’m speaking at Omega this year which is great in New York. We have the retreat coming up in February it’s sold out I’m going to do another one probably in May I put a date up in May I haven’t announced it yet, that will sell out.
[00:08:14] I’m debating do I want to build the speaking side of this business. Meaning if I do I’m going to have to hire an aggressive salesperson to get out there and help me organize some of that because I just don’t have time with the levels right now and I don’t know if it’s where I want to spend my time. We’re going to see I’m going to go this weekend and kind of work on that. So I’m working on that this week up until next Tuesday. Really getting that organized in the front end of you know kind of what I’m doing and what are the next steps here. Even though I’ve got the Omega event coming up, I’m speaking in Atlanta at a National Speakers Association big event. They want me to come in and help them. I’ve got my own things but there are some things I want to do I’m going to expand my coaching right now, I’m pretty full I can fit a couple of people in possibly the right people. Those are the things that I’m working on this weekend. So kind of that’s what I want you to look at is seeing where you’re at. Some other things, building extra income, are there some things you want to do to build extra income maybe even outside of ILD, one of the things were working within the financial group is coming up with some ideas. Can we do things that are less expensive that can generate revenue. That’s what we’re focused on in the finance group.
[00:09:24] I personally love the eBay, the online e-commerce businesses, I’ve got some great friends in that business. I coach some real leaders that are with Amazon and my personal coaching clients have done really great in that business. I’ve spoken some conventions for that and it’s something that anybody can do, is if you get a hobby or interested you start putting things up on eBay and start selling. It’s a great way to earn some extra income. It’s something that you can look into if that’s something you want more information about, let me know and I’m going to be bringing those resources on that. The thing that I need from everybody here at MorningCoach as we grow this and as we get the levels going is I need to know what you’re looking for.
[00:10:07] What do you really need. As we structure this out and I’m helping you get organized which I’ve helped you with the sacred six and the assessments in the levels. The next step is what are the resources that you need. Because Level 3 one of things we were going to do is we’re going to build these trusted adviser groups and one of the benefits that I have here is there’s two things we can do for you personally. One is you can ask me questions and I can get them answered. Jacob sent some amazing questions that are very deep and I think everybody will enjoy them and their metaphysical and I love them and I said will you record those or put them in Ask JB and he’s going to be doing that. Jacobs’s this great baseball coach doing amazing things and Jacob is going to do that. I said gosh Put those in ask, so you can always ask me questions and you know I love the deep and esoteric questions. That’s what I love. The second thing is let me know what you’re really working on so I can put resources together so as a couple of places we can get resources one is within our own community.
[00:11:07] That’s why I’m driving so hard to keep the What’s Up group or the whatsapp group, I always say what’s up, which is our real time communication and then the Facebook groups because in this group there are so many amazing people that there are resources that we can help each other the other way that I can bring resources if you need something in a particular area, say like J.B hey I want to learn a little bit about e-commerce. I have my friends John Lawson, I have so many friends that are in that business. Michael who’s with the CEO of deathwish coffees is number one sales, coffee sales online. Jeff Cohen who is one of my coaching clients who works with Amazon sellers labs really great people in that business I’ll just have him on the show and we can answer your questions. So the big commitment that I have this year is to get everybody more involved in the things that you need so that I can really just push the value equation of MorningCoach through the roof because I have these resources that I can bring to the table and help you with whatever particular need you’re dealing with and that’s really what this is about as a community. I know it’s kind of like J.B. I’ve got to do this assessment I’ve got to do that. Yeah but this is a research for you. The MorningCoach community and a level system that I’m building is a resource for you. We are not looking for millions of people I’m looking to help you. Right. That’s what this is all about. So if you’ve got a particular issue whatever it is or you’ve got a particular thing you’re doing maybe writing a book and you want me to get Shawn Platt on or maybe you’re going to launch an education of course and I can get Danny Ini on.
[00:12:40] These are resources I can bring to this community to help, and they are more than willing to jump on and do a show with me. So just keep me informed of some of the stuff you’re working on and things that you having problems with because I want to be the shell answer man.
[00:12:55] I want this to be the place where you come and I’m your trusted adviser and we can get the resources you need. OK. So it’s awesome. So just think about those things. The last thing I would kind of want to talk about here and I’m in stream of consciousness again so I can’t forget ACIM I did that a few days ago and I’m not going to do that again. I’ve got it right here on the desk, is tax organization. This is one that I get a little sloppy, I’ll admit I’ve got a book keeper and I send everything over there. I’m working really hard this year to be as organized as possible really structure receipts and everything that’s coming in and working hard to do that. It’s not my best area but it is an area that I’m working on. Tax organization is really important if you keep mileage logs if you keep your receipts. This is a great time because we’re five days and you know we’re not too far ahead to get organized. Really let’s focus on getting organized with our taxes and make sure we’re there. The idea is it’s a financial New Year, so it’s a good opportunity to start doing new things with our finances and really get organized really good structured, and that’s what I want to help you do. OK.
[00:14:01] It is Friday so we’re going to have some fun. All right.
[00:14:03] As I said get a hold of me if you’ve got some particular things that you need so that we can work on them together. All right let’s get into today’s ACIM lesson, And these are really becoming mind benders now aren’t they, and that’s what it’s for it’s getting you to think differently. This is a great one and I really like this lesson it’s something that I always remind myself when I have an issue and is this, I am never upset for the reason I think, so this really is not about any particular situation. It’s just understanding that you’re never upset for the reason that you think it may seem to be fair worried or pressure or any number of forms but it’s not, and this is important. This idea is the idea that you’re perceiving an upset but you’re really not upset for the reason you think. What you’re going to do is you’re going to state this, I’m not angry at… If it’s a person for the reason I’m think, I’m not afraid of blank for the reason I think, and this is one of the key phrases that I feel in a course in miracles. When you get this and it really works your mind, you’ll start to understand this. There are no small upsets. They are equally disturbing to my peace of mind, now remember when we get into the higher levels I’m going to go into this into depth but just think about that. There are no small upsets. Everything is equally disturbing to your peace of mind.
[00:15:25] That’s powerful when you really start to grasp that. I cannot keep this form of upset when you have it and let others go. For the purposes exercises that I will regard them all the same. So the idea is to let these things go and understand that I am never upset for the reason I think. Again a mind bender. This is really getting you to think, so as you apply this you search your mind and you say I’m not worried about this for the reason I think I’m not depressed about this for the reason I think. So a few times a day and the course recommends three or four times a day is enough that you’re going to say I am not this, I’m not worried about this for the reason I’m, think, I’m not upset about this for the reason that I think and again we’re bending your mind a little bit here to think differently. That’s the whole key to a course in miracles is to see a different reality and that’s what we’re doing here.
