Boston Dynamic Robotics Dancing-Spot’s On It

Recently I saw a shocking video on the internet, I’m still pinching myself whether it was real!!

I noticed in the video that starting in a room, I felt like there were some decks of chairs one on top of the other. But later I got to know that these were not chairs but Robots.

Spot’s on it

These yellow colored robots were so tactfully sitting in such a way that one would assume them to be some chairs or can say folding seats stacked on top of each other. But soon the music started, the robots started unfolding themselves. They showed some of the best dance steps, and in the end the seven spots just isolated and synchronized their meaning and seemed to play off of each other’s dance moves.

What was so unique about Boston Dancing Robots?

The dance steps of the yellow robots were so flawless as they seemed to be some expert. They were planned and their movements were so smooth and convincing ones.

According to Eric Whitman, who is a Boston Dynamics roboticist and had a lead role said, “There were a lot of challenges around getting the vision of our choreographer, who’s used to dealing with human dancers, into our software, Everything had to be worked out in advance and scripted precisely. Robots have the advantage over humans in that they’re very repeatable: Once you get it right, it stays right. But they have the disadvantage that you have to tell them every little detail. They don’t improvise at all.”

Boston Elements Acquisition by Hyundai

Hyundai has formally finished its securing of Boston Elements. Boston Elements is the maker of the web’s number one moving Spot and Map book robots.

Also, for BTS lovers there is a great news that the organization is teaming up with K-pop sensation BTS on another video that shows seven Spot robots cutting to the band’s 2020 melody “IONIQ: I’m On It.”

Message to the World with this Video

The moving recordings likewise help to flaunt the tomfoolery, energetic side of the Spot robots, solidifying them in the public brain as charming moving machines, as opposed to the more dubious genuine purposes wherein the robots have been conveyed.
