Dwarkadheesh temple is one of the most visited places in Mathura and is located along the banks of the Yamuna river next to the Vishram ghatand. Lord Dwarkad heesh is an avatar of Lord Krishna and this temple is the main attraction. The DwarkADheesh Temple is one of the oldest and biggest temples of Mathura and one of the holiest places 4 kilometers from the Mathura Junction Station.    

Kamakshi Amman Temple is an ancient temple that is the most famous temple in the city. This place is also known as the Kesi-Ghat Temple, as it is the same place where Lord Krishna killed the Kesi – dragon demon.
