The pentapeptide Ipamorelin, with amino acid sequence Aib-His-D-2-Nal-D-Phe-Lys-NH2, is classified as a GHRP (growth hormone-releasing peptide) which is similar to GHRP-2, GHRP-6, and Hexarelin in stimulating growth hormone (GH) in animal test subjects.
