Top 5 Spiritual books on Audible you need to hear

Top 5 Spiritual Books on Audible

If it wasn’t for Audible I wouldn’t have been able to read/listen to these amazing books. I learned so much from each Book that I go back re-listen to them. Audible has a great clip function that allows you to clip a part of the book currently being read. So you can go back a listen to it again. Sort of an audible hi-lighter.

Books, especially self-help or spiritual books need to be read and re-read at different parts of your life. You’ll hear a different message or something will ring true that didn’t before. All of these books, in particular, are ones that you’ll read/listen too over and over again. Listen to your intuition it’ll draw you to a book that you need at this point in time.

The Universe Has Your Back by Gabrielle Bernstein

Gabi Bernstein is always positive and motivating. This book is about putting your faith in the universe, higher self, God or whomever you believe in, and trust that it will bring you what you need. Meditations/Assignments are part of this journey to find your way to the life you want to see.

Learn how to learn and respond through love. As stated on the cover you’ll transform Fear to Faith. As with all of Gabi’s books and teachings, everything is based on listening to the Divine and make subtle changes to make large impacts. This book may be the universal assignment that you need.

Audible time: 4hrs 31min Narrated by Gabi Bernstein

A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle

Dive into your ego and its correlation in all things, discover pain body, the secret to happiness and your life’s purpose. Sounds like a lot for one book but it reads easy and is an eye-opening journey.

I’m not gonna lie, this book took me a while to read. I started the book not once but twice. The first time I wasn’t ready to receive it. I struggled to get through the first couple of chapters before finally putting it down for about 6 months or so.

Then one day I picked it up again, and read it. The third time I listened to it on Audible and I learned new things. So don’t get discouraged if you’re struggling to read/listen to any of these books. Put it down and come back to it later.

Audible time: 9hrs 13min Narrated by Eckhart Tolle

The Conscious Parent by Shefali Tsabary, PhD

Mom/Dad all the parents out there, this is a great book about raising children and how they are little spirit guides for us. You learn a new perspective on how to speak, treat and raise your self through your kids. That’s right, it’s about you and your growth that is key to the Conscious Parent.

I’ve listened to this book about 3 times now. You’ll have your mind blown as Dr. Shefali continuously says such eye-opening statements about parenting. You’ll listen to this book, over and over again, and each time something new will resonate with you.

It’ll help you navigate some of those bumpy roads with your kids. Love, love this book and Dr. Shefali. If you are struggling with your kids, which who isn’t, then check out this book now!

*This is my first choice for Top 5 Spiritual Books on Audible. I’ve read/listened to this book the most.

Audible time: 9hrs 32min Narrated by Dr. Shefali

The Gifts of Imperfection by Brene  Brown, PhD

Oh Brene Brown, who doesn’t love her! Have you seen her TedTalk? Ever since then you’ve probably been a fan of hers. If you haven’t heard of her yet she even has Netflix special to check out. She has a great personality and an interesting background that she brings to the table.

She is a researcher who studies courage vulnerability, shame, and empathy.  Wow! Who knew that was a thing?! She’s got a lot of NY Times Best Seller’s. This book, however, is all about how “perfectionism is more about perception – we want to be perceived as perfect.”

Are you a perfectionist? This book will help you open your eyes and shift your way of thinking that perfectionism is well…perfect. Learn why shame loves perfectionists and how making things appear perfect on the outside isn’t the answer. Perfectionism goes much deeper than you think and is related to other emotions.

Audible time 4hrs 42min. Narrated by Lauren Fortgang

The Seat of the Soul by Gary Zukav

This truly comprehensive book goes into so many different areas that it’s hard to write a blurb about it. Gary Zukav covers everything from Karma, relationships, reverence, intuition, Souls, power, choice and so much more.

You will need some time to process everything you’re reading/listening to. Every page and word is filled with so much thought and meaning that it will require your full attention. You’ll need to listen with your ears and soul.

Audible time: 10hr 12min Narrated by Gary Zukav

Narrator

You’ll learn on Audible that you have a preference on who narrates the audible story. You can choose a male or female, even speed up the pace at which they read. Pretty cool. For me though, if I know who the author is, I really want it to be the author narrating the book. It seems more personable that way. Unfortunately, not all of them have the author reading their books. Bummer.

Luckily, almost all the books on Top 5 Spiritual Books on Audible list are narrated by the author except The Gifts of Imperfection. So you will hear Gabrielle Bernstein, Eckhart Tolle, Gary Zukav, and Shefali Tsabary’s voice reading their own book. Love that!

Book vs Audible

Don’t you love to hold a book in your hands? And then reference it back later, hi-light sections or fold the ear down. Let me tell you that you can still do some of those things in Audible.

It’s very calming and relaxing and if something resonates with you it’s still as powerful as having read it in an actual book.

Ok, so you’re not holding an actual book but even better, you can “read” or listen to this book whenever and wherever. You don’t have to wait until you get back home or someplace quiet to read it.

Instead of high lighting a section you can clip the section and go back and hear it again and again. The only bad part is that you can’t clip parts fast enough when your walking or running. So then you have to go back and search for it later.

Listen During Your Commute

You can finally get around to reading/listening to those books that are collecting dust. And you’re not having to take extra time, you’re just better utilizing your commute time that you already have. I downloaded my first audible book and knocked out an entire book in a few days!

In addition, to listening to it in your car you can listen to it when walking/running or working out or anything else. You could even cook or clean the house while listening to your book. Multi-tasking just got better!

You may have noticed some of the Top 5 Spiritual Books on Audible has some lengthy audible times. Don’t be discouraged! The time flies. Push play and go!

What Do You Like to Read?

During the last 10 years, I’ve been into reading self-help, spirituality, holistic health, alternative healing, nutrition, and autobiographies of great women and some men. What are you into reading?

I wish you peace and guidance (hope these books help) on your journey. Take care and be well.
