In the process of undertaking this, it often weakens our immunity system making us more prone to suffering from various diseases.

When stressed we are not able to think clearly and in a focused manner. This in turn affects the right and left brain stopping us from getting those creative juices to flow. Not only do we not get those good ideas but productivity goes for a massive toss leading to more distracted and unfocused behavior from each of us affecting in work, personal life, and more.

When stressed the brain starts ruminating excessively and we can’t stop worrying. As we go in this mode of panic we resort to various behavior patterns to help us relax such as substance, smoking, drinking, binge eating, craving for dessert, an overdose of tea, coffee, etc. All of the above are temporary stimulants that relax the body for the time being but affect it adversely the minute the effects run out. Leading to even more usage of the same substance next time trapping the individual in this vicious negative cycle.
