Did you know that 46.9% of all employed persons in Australia are female?
In the aged care industry specifically, there are approximately 240,317 Women in direct care roles, with the female workforce making up 87% in residential care and 89% in home care and support.
At PresCare, we have 723 (89.6%) females working directly in our residential and home care teams, as well as within our corporate office.
This week we recognise and celebrate women from all walks of life on their social, economic, cultural, political and personal achievements that they’ve accomplished to date. Thank you to all the women working within the PresCare family for your dedication towards providing quality care for our senior Queenslanders.
