Researchers from IIT predict the Covid19 3rd wave to be less lethal than the 2nd wave in India, if it doesn’t mutate further. They say that the cases may see a rise starting from August and through September due to the lifted lockdown and not because of any new virus variant.
The mathematical model developed by the IIT researchers suggests that the 3rd wave will just be a ripple. It signifies that the hospitals will have even lesser load than they had during the 1st wave, if in case the 3rd wave does arrive in India.
