It is a myth that only people with dry Skin can have sensitive skin. As a matter of fact, sensitive skin is not a skin type at all, but rather a condition that can exist with any skin type. This skin condition makes treating skin more difficult.

Some of the best natural exfoliants are citrus fruit juices. You can also try a mix of oatmeal and grapefruit juice. Another effective exfoliant recipe is made by mixing milk, honey, and crushed almonds.

Facial Masks made with Natural Ingredients

You can make a facial mask for sensitive skin by mixing cucumber and yogurt together. Licorice is another soothing product. Try using aloe vera gel directly on your skin.

Leave the mask on for face for a couple of minutes and then wash off with a warm, moist washcloth.

These natural, sensitive skin treatments can help you treat the itching and redness that is often experienced during summer. Keep in mind that using the wrong treatments can lead to fragile and damaged skin.
