ampronix is certifiably outstanding
Orange County, CA - May 13th 2016 - ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003 certifications is the ultimate way to guarantee that the service or products provided by a company will consistently perform with the utmost quality.
Back in 1946, a group of 65 delegates from 25 countries met in London and founded ISO to unify and coordinate international industry standards. Since then, they have grown to be developed via industry expert collaboration from over 700 regional, national, and international organizations. As such, they result in capturing best practices from all over the world.
Adopting ISO standards are a completely voluntary act. It is not at all necessary to perform operations, but Ampronix strives to maintain certification in order to sustain a competitive edge. With this type of assurance, clients from all over the world can be confident in the products and services we offer.
In fact, these standards demand respect from state authorities as well. Many governmental bodies recognize and adopt ISO into their public policy plans to regulate their goods, services, and technology. Beneficially, this crucial fact ensures that international government entities safeguard these standards in their country’s importing and exporting practices.
Currently, Ampronix is proud to hold two certifications: ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 13485:2003. The scope of these certifications includes sales, service, retrofitting, design, and manufacturing. These standards promote a quality management system with a focus on meeting customer requirements. We strive for continual improvement; we focus on relationship management, reducing redundancies, and cross-training.
To retain these certifications, we are subject to undergo regular conformity assessments, which include tests, certification, and inspections by outside auditors that are accredited by ISO. This involves showing that our products and services meet all requirements of set standards.
ISO 9001 refers to a set of specifications that were formulated to assure and improve quality customer service. Receiving the certification affirms that Ampronix follows the principles of quality management, including but limited to focusing on clients, leadership, and evidence-based decision making.
ISO 13485 is similar to ISO 9001, but was devised to specifically cater to quality as it relates to medical device design and manufacturing. Certification to this standard indicates that Ampronix diligently acknowledges regulatory requirements, monitors for workplace safety, and focuses on risk management and design control, among other factors.
There are a host of benefits for adopting these international standards. From a business point of view, quality improvement translates to a cost-savings measure. For consumers, this necessarily means that the products and services provided are reliable, safe, and good quality.
We voluntarily undergo rigorous tests to meet ISO standards so we can exceed the expectations of our clients. Whether it’s a repair or unit that they are interested in, they can trust that we will supply it with superior service. Moving forward, Ampronix will be focusing on an audit scheduled for later this year.
