Ayur Tulsi Face Pack Review | Anti Bacterial

Ayur Tulsi Face Pack Review | Anti Bacterial

After using the Ayur Neem Face Pack (Review coming up soon!), I liked it so much that I decided to try the other Ayur face packs as well! I also recall using the Ayur Deep Pore Cleansing Milk in the past. So these days I am using the anti-bacterial tulsi (basil) face pack. It claims to reduce and control excessive skin oil while bringing out the natural skin glow. And here’s my quick review on it!

Product Description, Ingredients, and Direction of Use

Packaging

The packaging is very basic. The face pack powder comes in a plastic pack, inside a card paper box. All the necessary details are present on the box. What I do is… I have made a small cut on the plastic packaging to take out the powder. After that I fold it neatly and wrap a small elastic band over it, to prevent leak outs. You can either do this or transfer it into an empty jar.

My Skin Type

Oily, acne-prone and sensitive

Color and Texture

The face pack has a color of that of a Multani mitti powder. When mixed with liquid it has a slightly creamy texture to it, I think maybe because of starch. I am glad it dries off within 10 minutes. Hence it’s perfect for everyday use!

Fragrance

It has an ayurvedic fragrance which is mild and calming.

Effectiveness

I use my everyday face mist to make a tulsi powder paste. My everyday DIY face mist contains purified water and 6-7 drops of aloe vera gel. And I am currently using The Face Shop Aloe Vera Gel.

With regular usage, the face pack does help in controlling excessive sebum production. Post wash skin also feels super soft and smooth. It cleanses my facial skin without leaving a dry and stretchy feeling behind.

The first time when I used it I do remember a cooling-ticklish sensation which felt quite good and relaxing. I am glad it doesn’t cause any stinging or burning sensation as my skin is quite sensitive. (Also my eyes well up! )

Pros of Ayur Tulsi Face Pack

  • Cleanses skin
  • Removes and controls excessive sebum production
  • Controls acne breakouts
  • Makes skin super soft
  • Smoothens out skin
  • Brightens up facial skin
  • Suitable for all skin types
  • Best suitable for oily and acne-prone skin
  • Very cheap
  • Can be used every day

Cons of Ayur Tulsi Face Pack

I found none! But if you are someone who is lazy to mix the powder with some liquid then this could be a con for you!

Also, availability could be an issue for some. Try asking in your local stores. I get mine from a nearby chemist store, if it’s not available then I shop online.

Final Verdict

I love it!
Honestly, I bought the neem powder and tulsi powder from Ayur to use it in my future DIYs. But before that, I was testing out how effective they are. I am surprised that they are not only simple containing such basic ingredients but also quite effective! I am going to try more face packs from Ayur and will come up with some DIYs with them soon. So make sure you have subscribed to the blog to stay updated! Lemme know if you have tried any face pack from Ayur Herbals or which is your current favorite face pack?
