Blisk – The most Responsive inspection browser

In designing Responsive websites, checking the interface on different devices is always necessary to ensure that our website interface can be displayed well in every device.

Of course, few people use every device to check the interface of the website because not everyone has enough equipment, but will use the support tools in the Browser such as Viewport Resizer, ResponSinator.com, or even Is manual testing by self-stretching the browser.

However, with the support tools mentioned above can not compare with the actual quality of the website when displayed on the actual device. Which install the phone simulator is heavy but time consuming.

Yesterday I accidentally known a new browser service for the purpose of testing and debug website on the phone device, which is the browser Blisk.

What is Browser Blisk ?

This is a browser (developed from Chromium source code) designed specifically for Web designers with the goal of debugging interfaces across devices such as smartphones, tablets and desktops.

But it is not like the usual screening techniques, which will completely simulate the display on your phone, you can interact directly with the phone interface and most importantly Use a separate Inspect Element to debug, support live reload.

Debug with Inspect Element

One difference between Blisk and other test applications is that it allows us to debug our own emulation interface with a separate Inspect Element. This means that when you right-click and select Inspect Element in your phone, you will debug separately on the phone interface, and similarly on the desktop interface.

Auto Refresh (a.k.a Live Reload)

Talking about live reload, we have a lot of options like Live Reload, Grunt, Gulp to do but if the browser is available why not take advantage of that save time?

You can select the directory to watch it and then every code change in any file in that directory, Blisk will automatically reload the page.

Scroll Sync

This feature is automatically turned on in Blisk, which allows us to slide the website simultaneously on both devices. For example, if you mouse over the phone and scroll the page, both devices will be scrolled. You can disable this feature if you find it inconvenient.

Features coming soon

Screenshots

This feature will allow users to take pictures of their website right in the browser.

Analytics

A feature worth looking at in Blisk, this feature helps us to statistics Javascript errors on the website, monitor website speed to optimize, check compatibility in all other browsers and monitor the resources. Loadable (CSS, image, font, …).

Integrations

In addition to tracking the web, Blisk is also eager to support something that will improve the speed of work for each project, so Integrations is a feature that meets that expectation. This feature allows users to track bugs and manage the progress of each project as a Project Management System.

So what is Blisk useful for?

As I mentioned at the beginning of this article, this is a browser dedicated to the web designer or front-end designer so its features are just around the corner and I think that is enough for the needs of two objects. present. And in the future Blisk has improved further what we have to track to know.
