Until Pzizz I Hadn’t Slept Since LBJ
Sleep, like food, can be both purely recreational and necessary. One can overeat and look like a group photo of themselves or oversleep and miss the point of being born in the first place. There are other options but I discovered Pzizz early on and have used it as my go-to pre-medication choice since 2010. First, no device short of a hammer or shotgun will guarantee you fall asleep. There are nights I do not sleep, even with the use of medication. The hammer and shotgun were humorous asides and I suggest avoiding them as anything more than a means by which to defend oneself from lizard men and home improvement. Pzizz uses something called binaural sound to create a quietude in your mind. I’ll leave further research up to you — but I’ve long since come to trust the app as something short of a miracle but reliable enough to encourage you to commit yourself to the recommended period of time recommended and give this app a fair, perhaps life changing, shot. I wrote the original developers to thank then personally a decade ago and they were kind enough to express their gratitude — and their commitment to keep exploring the nascent technology that our anxiety eating world needs more than ever. Good luck — and, by all means, good night. CRAIG PS: I don’t endorse any product unless I believe it has a healthy place in this world. Or I own it (which, sadly, I do not)
