According to avert, Nigeria has the second largest HIV epidemic in the world with a 3.1% of the virus found in adult citizens. It's kinda lower when compared to South Africa with a 19.2% and Zambia with 12.9% of of the virus among adults.
By estimation of the population of Nigeria as of 2015, 3.5 million people were living with HIV.

- Both Oyo and Sokoto State with 5.6%
