A new Restaurant and bar may be on its way to the South End, and a person behind one of Boston's best-known restaurants is apparently behind this spot.

According to a source (via a hearing notice), Bar Lyon is looking to open at the corner of Washington Street and Massachusetts Avenue, with the notice indicating that Mark D'Alessandro of Mistral is the manager of the proposed spot. Very little is known about the place other than the fact that it hopes to have seating for approximately 60 people and that it will have both a dining area and a bar.

Mark D'Alessandro is currently the general manager and a partner at Mistral, which is a high-end French restaurant on Columbus Avenue in the South End.
