How to Quickly Build Your Marketing Stacks

Most marketers are using a set of tools and technologies in their Marketing processes.  A standard way of referring to these tools: marketing stacks.

Depending on your industry, marketing stacks will vary. That’s why you need to select the right set of tools for your situation.

And this is what this article is all about: provide you with ideas about the best marketing tools and techniques.

According to Optimizely’s definition, a marketing technology stack is a grouping of technologies that marketers leverage to conduct and improve their marketing activities.

A simple marketing technology stack could look like this:

Content Marketing Stack

A curated directory of content marketing resources & tutorials.

   

Content Marketing Stack is an actionable collection of the best resources you need to craft and execute a successful Content Marketing.

The site authors did their best to select the finest only. So the point is not quantity, but quality. There are two types of resources: Theory and Tools. They highly suggest you read the material before using the tools. The best content marketing gurus are featured, such as Joe Pulizzi (@JoePulizzi) and Sujan Patel (@sujanpatel).

Marketing Stack

A curated directory of marketing resources & tools (inspired by Startup Stash)

At Marketing Stack, there are currently 28 categories with around 260 resources/tools that cover a few key areas of marketing; Analytics, Content Marketing, Collaboration, Automation, Customer Experience and Miscellaneous (blogs, PR, newsletters, link shorteners, etc). In each category, there is a maximum of ten resources that have been curated by me. The resources and tools have their logo, quick description and link to their site. However, they are not in any particular order!

Startup Stash

A curated directory of resources & tools to help you build your Startup.

Startup Stash includes 400 products in 40 categories, like for example Idea Generation, Early users, Marketing, Raising Capital and Customer support. Each group consists of 10 handpicked resources and tools, all with their detail page that displays some info about the product.

App Marketing Stack

A curated directory of resources and tools to help you grow your app.

   

App Marketing Stack is built based on the framework of Mobile Growth Stack by Andy Carvell from Soundcloud. It includes 100+ resources and 60+ tools in 52 categories, for example, App Store Optimization, Deep Linking, and Growth Modelling. In each group, there is a maximum of 15 hand-picked resources and tools.

I wish it would be useful for app marketers who are looking for resources in building their mobile playbook.

Product Manual Stack

A curated directory of resources and tools to help you learn and progress in product management.

   

Product Manual is organized into 25 categories. Each category has a list of carefully curated resources in various formats. You can browse the directory by category or search the whole site.

Free Stack for Designers

Free tools & resources for designers

   

Free Stack hosts a user-driven Collection of Tools and Resources for Designers and Developers to help on their next project.

It’s focussed more on aspects designers might find useful like Help with Public Speaking, CV and Interview Tips, God-Like Designers to follow and ways to invoice and get paid your worth along with many more personal aspects that Freelance Designers will find helpful.
