The break up was hard . . . really hard . . . . I felt like my heart had been yanked out of my chest, stomped on, and stuffed back into my body with the hole left open. I literally wanted to die.
This was the most heartbreaking moment of my life . . . and I was 16 years old . . . feels like a lifetime.
But, with experience, you learn how to handle the feelings and situations, the events and emotions that your thrown into, witness, or somehow, become a part of. And each time you go through something you learn from it.
Sometimes you understand that it’s really NOT the end of the world or that if you were to die there is More at stake than YOU or that it’s up to you to pull yourself together so YOU can make your dreams come true and even better, help someone else’s dreams come true.
Life has a weird way of pulling us along the paths that we’re Meant to . . . sometimes we go through the same experiences on repeat … why? Well . . . because we didn’t learn the lessons the 1st, 2nd, 10th time. And until we “GET IT”, we’re doomed to live Groundhog’s Day just like Bill Murray.
I’ll share with you my own Groundhog’s Day in the next post . . . but for now, know that no matter the hardship, the heartbreak, the walls crumbling around you, that because you’re still here, you’re meant to be here for a bigger purpose. Understand that YOU have a purpose to be the light for someone else because of the darkness you’ve been through.
So, learn from your own heartbreaks and remember that SOMEONE is counting on YOU walking this Earth.
