The Bident Pod By Geekvape Previewed
The Geekvape Bident Pod is a new release hot on the heels of their previous pod mod system the Geekvape Frenzy which I really love!
The name “Bident” keeps reminding me of “Bidet” and I keep flipping typing it wrong! Even Spellcheck agrees with me!
Now “Bident” apparently means a “two pronged implement – similar to a pitchfork” – which makes sense when you see the main feature of this kit.
Geekvape are saying this is the first dual coil pod kit. Which I think is true. Smok has recently released some 0.6ohm dual coils for the Nord pod and Trinity Alpha kits but they are just coil heads rather than full pods.
The pods on the Bident have the coils already installed and they are not replaceable. So when the coils are past their best you will have to discard the whole pod and replace with a new one.
There are two pod options available and you get both in the kit:
- B1 Pod – N80 0.8ohm 14-18W
- B2 Pod – N80 1.2ohm 9-12W.
Also the pods come in 2 capacities – 3.5ml is the standard size but in TPD regulated areas you will only be able to buy 2ml capacity pods.
There is a bottom fill port on the pod so you can add your own e-liquid.
The pod of course needs some power which is supplied by the Bident device.
There is a 950mAh battery which apparently can be fully charged in 45 minutes using the USB C type port.
You can also choose from 3 power output options of 3.4V, 3.6V or 3.8V to suit your preference. The power level and battery capacity remaining will be displayed on the LED light surrounding the fire button.
There are 6 colours to choose from: Black Carbon Fibre, Gold Carbon Fibre, Red Carbon Fibre, Silver Aurora, Gunmetal Magma and Rainbow Fantasy.

This really is a cute little kit and I do think it is targeting the “Nord” market. But sadly (for me) not being able to change the coils puts me off a bit.
Anyway, is the Geekvape Bident Pod what you will be vaping on when visiting the Bidet? Let me know (well not in detail!) in the comments below!
