Introduction – The Eif Rambo MTL Pod Kit By Wintel
Deep inside the gorgeous jewelry shop style box in which my Wintel Eif Rambo Kit arrived, in a corner of the user manual, I discovered that the actual company name was Shenzhen Wintel Technology Co…but Googling the brand produced absolutely no more info.
All I know is that these kits are available through HeavenGifts and that’s that. You also won’t find the name, EIF Rambo anywhere on the pod or in the packaging, that’s just something that appears at the top of the sales material. So that about ends my company intro to you, my dearest vapers.
What I can tell you is that in all my time vaping and with all the mini mods, pocket mods, all-in-ones, cigalikes and pod mods I’ve picked up (and there are definitely a few of them), I have never loved the hand feel and look of a mini-device more than I love this one.
It is, as a note, entirely a mouth to lung vape device…you will get NO direct lung action here.
When I was told I’d be receiving an MTL pod mod that was fashioned off the looks of an Italian design car like the Lambo (hence, the Rambo name, I suppose), my first thought was: “Oh no, that’s ridiculous…” and that’s because I’m not big on a thing that does one thing being manufactured to resemble a thing that does something else but with that said, I was swept away by the look and feel of this mouth to lung pod but I’ll cover that in the body of this review.
Although this device produces less vapor than a Vogue Slim Light does smoke…I would definitely order another one if it broke.
It will leave home with me whenever I go out, somewhere in my bag. That’s because, when I chat to newbies about vaping, I’d like to show them an example of what has to be the coolest looking vape ever made. That, of course, is just me.

Build Quality & Design
Thw Wintel Eif Rambo pod mod is fashioned off the looks of a Lamborghini and is designed to lie flat like a car would drive…it does this job very well, it just lies there and looks beautiful.
Well, the neat little box, with minimalist fine gold, Wintel Branding and a display sleeve, opens out like a Lamborghini’s doors open, but backwards, and it really is like the type of box you might get a $3000 watch in or something, its top quality.
I take the little aluminum alloy and 24 K gold plated pod mod out and quickly slide the dark purple plastic cartridge into place to see the finished look. Pictures cannot capture the allure of this device, the way it shines, the perfect weight…hmm.
The cartridge slides easily into place on grooves and from the top, it sits where a normal cars front hood would be.
Effectively, this 104x14x40 mm pod looks like a wheel-less blast-finished-gold-plated Lamborghini Centenario or Aventador with dark purple plastic headlights and taillights(that don’t light up), a hood of the same material (which has a suction hole where the front number plate would sit), a sunroof of the same purple (which lights up blue when firing, is actually the fire/on/off switch and says “engine start stop” on it in sunken lettering) and then a rear wing of the same purple plastic.
There is a micro USB charge port in place of a rear number plate and on the underbelly of the mod, which is flattened so that the pod can lie down, the same purple hood shape is visible, a screw is visible at either side in the middle of the flat surface and the Wintel Branding in attractive, blocky purple sandblasted print.
There is a seam that runs around the entire outer edge of the mod when lying flat but its only visible when you pick up the mod.
Does that make sense?
It looks like a freaking car, the sides (which are only 14mm tall) even have the outline of doors sunken into them. When described I’m pretty sure this sounds tacky as hell but take a look at the photographs, its beautiful!
What’s more, while it weighs very little for any mod, it ways a good amount for a mod of this size, coming in at 86g with a full cartridge fitted. With the blast finished 24K Gold vacuum plating it looks and feels remarkable. I absolutely love the handful and weight. I went to the mall with it, because it produces so little vapor that it really is an effective stealth device and I did all my shopping and payments with the mod safely tucked in my hand. It has the type of feel that makes you not want to put it down.
Also, it’s so sexy in and off itself that people (and Ive already showed it to a few) aren’t inclined to notice that its supposed to like like something else…a car.
I plugged it into my MacBook to charge and it looked so beautiful lying there on the mac, next to the touchpad, that, since I can’t make out with it, I had to take pictures. I took 6… because it looks good from every angle…I’ve added one for your benefit, although I see it’s somewhat a blur in the 6am light.
The thing is, that’s not all that it’s about, is it…?
How Does The Wintel EIF Rambo Perform?
So once you’ve filled and slid in the cartridge, which I’ve explained below, you are supposed to five click the little sunroof to switch on, at which point the blue LED inside it will flash five times to indicate that you’re up and again, when you switch off, that you’re down.
Then when you’re firing, the light will go on while you press. The trouble is…this button is grotty. At first, I thought it didn’t work at all and that I would never vape this beautiful thing.
Then at one point, three clicks switched it on, but the light didn’t burn while firing. I played with it for a while, discovering that sometimes it works as intended and sometimes not…its just completely erratic.
The button doesn’t rattle when you shake it but it rattles at a light touch and feels like the mechanism underneath it is small and positioned so that unless you press at a particular angle and force it will fail, which it does half of the time.
Too bad. As I’m writing this though, the device is on for sure and for at least the last 10 hits, its lit up when fired. So my Lambo is happy today.
There is no airflow to speak of, ex-smokers, think of the airflow you’d get sucking through an unlit, tight packed cigarette and you’ll catch my drift.
The hole in the mouthpiece/cartridge, is less than a square millimeter in diameter and taking out the cartridge and sticking a pen in a tiny, Bic pen tip sized hole in the middle of the bottom of the cartridge, I realize that this sorry thing is the airflow hole but then I remember that this is an MTL device so actually, the less airflow the better.
Where on earth, I wonder, is the airflow-in on the car’s body. It appears that the air is coming in through the gap in the seam that runs around the side of the mod and under the taillights and USB/ rear-numberplate…with that said, you can only imagine, you cannot DL on this device.
I keep on alluding to cigarettes because this is the lowest vapor/wattage vape experience I’ve had in a while and for comparison, a cigarette works well because not only is the device the same thickness as a cigarette but it produces less vapor than a Vogue Light Slim produces smoke…which is bad for me but some stealthier and light-ex smokers would, perchance, approve.
One needs to take about 3 quick consecutive Mouth to Lung hit attempts before the coil is hot enough to vape, which is not good either, so we’re not getting much power here. As an MTlL device, this is average vape but the looks, let me say, will sell you.
I learned something about myself though…because I still couldn’t help carrying the thing from room to room with me, to town, outside. Its beautiful and when you’re in non-vaping, clean cut company…well, they don’t even notice that you’re taking a hit, provided you manage to get the thing to fire.
The (non)airflow is actually great for a mouth to lung experience but …and when it comes to MTL I find I WANT to use it!
I’ve also got to say that I can actually taste my flavor with the tiny amount of vapor coming through so somehow, they’ve achieved that.
Just a side note here, the electrics/tech on this device were designed and manufactured by LV luggage hardware supplier (whatever THAT means) so…possibly, therein lies the problem. Haha!
How To Fill
- Grab a cartridge
- Remove the tiny, tiny silicon stopper from the equally tiny hole that sits between the one gold power connect and the outer edge…with the help of a needle or tiny screw driver (tricky business)
- Cram the tip of your bottle into that hole
- Hold the cartridge to the light so you can see through it
- Squeeze like hell (since there’s really no air-out)
- Replace the silicon stopper, if you can find it
How To Change the Coil
- Just replace the cartridge, there is a spare included
Stock Coil Performance
What can I say: flavor is there for sure but vapor production…average or even below , even for a pod or low quality cigalike, very, very sadly. I believe though, that this is poor power output and not so much the coil.
I get about 80 draws of a charge, so its not ideal. Plus, charging takes ages, 3.5 hours is listed in sales material but I get about 2 hours charge time which, for this small 700 mAh battery, is bonkers.
What I Liked
You already know how I feel about the looks and feel, phenomenal look and feel and, also, the 4ml tank lasts for aeons before you need to fill it, which will tell you a lot about vapor production here.
I love the way it lies flat, so unusual, no-one would ever guess its a vape, ever. Plus, you can literally keep it in your hand, it feels lovely, with a great weight to it. The gold plating is top dollar as well.
I’d have to say I like this pod for really, really stealth situations, when it’s actually illegal to be caught blowing vapor out of your mouth but you still want a little flavor.
What I Dislike
The battery life and charge time as well as the difficulty of removing the silicon stopper to fill and the poor, poor airflow.
There is no way you could use this device for DL but as a MTL device, it has appeal, if you’re not on the market for big vapor production, hehe.
Final Review Verdict
Here I sit with a vape that I don’t want to consign to the shelf (or bin) because its so exquisitely stunning and feels so awesome in hand. Yet, I’m utterly dissatisfied with the vape experience, except perchance the flavor; then again I’m judging flavor against vapor production, which is negligible.
What can I say, looks matter, who knew? I actually did find a use for this, I’ve taken small vapes with me to the (no vaping) mall where I live and found I couldn’t use them because people still noticed. Here, I found this vape to be ideal, I could actually use the vape and go undetected because at a brisk walk, the vapor dissipates…and I still tasted flavor and for nicotine user, I suppose you’ll still get a little dose.
Great MTL restricted airflow, decent flavor, low cloud. Here you go, this is the stealth device dreams are made of because it really is stealthy. In a flash, gold plated sort of way, of course.
Although I can’t say that the vapor production or power supply here is much good, I recommend this as a Mouth To Lung device that s super stealthy, actually has okay flavor and looks like about 3 million bucks.
Would I buy the Wintel EIF Rambo again if I lost/broke the device? This is absolutely cray-cray but yes, I would. Its a talking piece, an emergency stealth piece and the prettiest thing ever!
- Juice capacity
- Good restricted MTL airflow
- Stealth Value
- The sexiest looks and hand feel
- The gold finish
- The fact that it doesn’t resemble a vape device in anyway adds to the stealth appeal
- Refill difficulty
- Low power output
- Low battery Life
- Poor vapor production
- Terrible fire button performance
