What Should I Buy For My First Vaping Box Mod?

Hello mate.

I came across this website by looking for some reviews and help to pick my first vaping Box Mod.

Reason: I’d really like to quit smoking and I thought that it may help a little.

If you have any recommendations etc. I would be glad to get some help.

Regards, Matt

Hey Matt,

Thanks for getting in touch, hope you’re well.

Do you Vape at the moment at all Matt? If so what do you use?

A brand new kit just out for new vapers is the Innokin Endura T22 Kit

I have one in hand at the moment and it is plug and play easy to use. Just add e-liquid.

This is a fixed watt mod so no confusing settings to mess about with. This will be finding a place on my box mod list for sure due to the ease for new users.

Then there is the Cool Fire 4 Plus which is new to market. More advanced in that it has ability to changed wattage/volts but it has a bigger battery capacity meaning more vape time.

Both great devices.

I use the Innokin iSub Apex tank a lot at the moment as well which is easy to fill and change coils. The above both come with very good tanks though.

Again, be sure to take a look at our top rated vape mod list.

Let me know what you think on the above or if you had something else in mind. Of course any specific questions let me know.

Many Thanks

Thanks for getting back to me.

I was thinking about the iTaste VTR mod just because I’d like to get one sort of vaper and customize it in near future instead of getting another one later on.

I used to have the pen kind of e-cigarette which is like a starter pack but I have quickly got bored with it and got back to smoking cigarettes.

In Your opinion, is there any reasonably good, lets say up to £100 box mod which I can start with and stay for a longer period of time?

I personally don’t mind having a built in battery or the one that I have to charge in a charger but what I would really like to get is something that I’m not gonna see so often in someone else’s hand.

Maybe there is a chance to build a box mod (all the necessary things like battery, tank etc) and if so, where could I build my personalized mod.

Thanks in advance and sorry for mistakes in writing but English is my second language.

Kind regards, Matt.

Answer

Hey Again Matt,

I really like the iTaste VTR by Innokin but it is quite an old vape (2.5-3 years) mod now and it does have a fair few limitations. The first is that it cannot fit all sizes of tank due to the sleeve ring width on the device. So you would need to check this.

The second is that it wasn’t built with sub ohm vaping in mind so if you want to vape with coils of 0.9Ohms or below either now or in the future then you won’t be able to do that.

So with that out of the way and the fact that you would like to have something that little bit different I would check out the following vape box mods.

Innokin Disrupter Mod – This kit has a click on battery system that allows you to swap batteries easily. Not only that, there are numerous color options so you can customize the look of the mod to suit you.

Jacvapour Series B Tilit – I love this mod mainly due to it looking different to any other mod I have seen on the vape market. It is powered by a replaceable battery and when a tank is fitted it has a slight offset look. I personally think it looks great and the quality is superb.

Another thing you could do which may be the best option is to buy a mod that can be fitted with a WUD skin.

Example mods such as the Cool Fire 4, Kanger Subox or something similar are compatible.

The Wud Skins are real wood wraps that go around your mod, they look amazing and they are not widely available in the UK so I can safely say you would have to look very hard for a vaper on the street that has one.

A lot of vapers in the States are mixing two different colored wraps to create individual looking skins for their mods.

Check out the Wud Skins here.

You should be able to get a kit together from the above easily below your £100 budget.

Cheers

Jonny
