Two Realty Austin Agents received finalist spots and three took home the award on June 17 through the virtual watch party.
The ABoR Industry Award focused on recognizing members who excelled and found innovative ways to grow their business through the hardships of the COVID-19 pandemic.
“2020 was very hard in the beginning,” says Advocate Award winner and Realty Austin Agent Albert Allen. “But we’re an amazing city, so we had people coming from all over the place. Jennifer went on to study architecture and engineering in college, finally finding the perfect fit for her degree with a blend of the two called "Construction Science."
Accelerate Award Finalist Kathy Sokolic
A long-time resident of Austin and a Mueller Neighborhood Pioneer, Kathy is always moving. Serving as Chair of her neighborhood association, organizing neighborhood block captains, and planning block parties and fall festivals, Kathy is always bringing people together. She spends her off-hours getting to know her neighbors, keeping in the know of what's going on in the city, volunteering with area non-profits, and baking delicious treats.
REALTOR of the Year Finalist Jen Berbas
Jen’s background in finance, first as an options trader and then working in the credit markets, laid the groundwork for a career in real estate and informs much of her work.
