Semi Truck Drivers Line Michigan Highway To Save Suicidal Man

Tags: police semi truck
The Michigan State Police organized a clever plan to stop a man from committing suicide from an overpass.

The officers lined up 13 Semi trucks across the entire highway to shorten the distance the man would fall, if he were to jump.

Thankfully, the man did not jump and the situation ended as the man walked off the bridge.
He was taken by Huntington Woods Police to Beaumont hospital for evaluation.

Local police and negotiators talked to the man for several hours until it ended peacefully, local news station WJBK reported.

If you or a loved one is feeling distressed, call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.
