Weekly Crime Summary | November 13-19, 2018

RECOVERED STOLEN VEHICLE

• 11-17-18, 11:16 AM, Lyndon/Fair Oaks. ’99, Chevy pick-up. Officer receives a LoJack activation and locates vehicle driven by Suspect. Officers conduct a traffic stop and suspect is arrested without incident. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Female, Hispanic, 33 years, Los Angeles.

• 11-13-18, 8 AM, 1400 block of Fair Oaks. ’13, Toyota Corolla. Officers respond to a vehicle parked on the street and discover vehicle to be stolen from Los Angeles.

STOLEN VEHICLE

11-17-18, midnight to 8 AM, 400 block of Raymondale. ’15, KIA Optima.

RESIDENTIAL BURGLARY

5-1-18 to 11-19-18, 4000 block of Collis (garage). Suspect(s) gain entry into victim’s garage by unknown means and takes loss. LOSS: Unknown.

• 10-27-18, 11:30 PM to 10-28-18, 2:30 AM, 400 block of Garfield (garage). Suspect(s) enter victim’s opened garage and then enter unlocked vehicle and takes loss. LOSS: Sunglasses, cash and miscellaneous papers.

POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE/PARAPHERNALIA

• 11-18-18, 10:25 PM, York/Pasadena. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation and found to be in possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 36 years, Palmdale.

• 11-18-18, 4:43 PM, 400 block of Fair Oaks. Officers respond to a suspicious person and find suspect to have several outstanding warrants. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Black, 54 years, Los Angeles.

THEFT

• 11-17-18, 10:30 AM to 11 AM, 1200 block of Fair Oaks (Pavilions). Victim is shopping inside store and places purse inside shopping cart. Suspect(s) takes loss from victim’s purse and later attempts to make a purchase with victim’s credit card. LOSS: Wallet.

• 11-4-18, 10:40 PM to 11-5-18, 5:10 AM, 600 block of Mound. Suspect(s) enter carport and cut lock securing loss, then takes loss. LOSS: Bicycle.

• 10-28-18, 7 PM to 10-29-18, 7 AM, 1200 block of Lyndon. Suspect(s) enter carport and take unsecured loss. LOSS: Bin containing clothes and shoes.

• 10-25-18, 9 PM to 10-26-18, 8 AM, 1200 block of Brunswick. Suspect(s) takes loss from victim’s mailbox. LOSS: Mail.

DUI

11-14-18, 6:35 PM, Huntington/Fair Oaks. Officers respond to a vehicle parked in the middle of an intersection. Officers locate suspect who is found to be driving under the influence of alcohol. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Asian, 80 years, Los Angeles.

PUBLIC INTOXICATION

11-17-18, 2:52 AM, 1400 block of Huntington. Officers find suspect lying on the sidewalk and discover suspect is intoxicated and unable to care for himself. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 39 years, Los Angeles.

WARRANT ARREST

• 11-18-18, 4:43 PM, 400 block of Fair Oaks (OSH). Officers respond to a subject acting suspiciously inside store. Officers contact subject who is found to have an outstanding warrant. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Black, 54 years, Los Angeles.

• 11-18-18, 1:22 PM, Fremont/Oxley. Suspect is stopped for a traffic violation and found to have an outstanding warrant. SUSPECT ARRESTED: Male, Hispanic, 35 years, Los Angeles.

VANDALISM

11-14-18, 9 PM to 11-15-18, 9 AM, 1100 block of Oxley. Suspect(s) scratches victim’s vehicle.

For graffiti removal, call the City of South Pasadena “Graffiti Removal Hotline” at 626-403-7249. This is a 24-hour a day recording. A written release is required prior to removal from private property.
