The South Pasadena Public Library congratulates 1774 Summer Reading Program (SRP) participants who read over 12,664 hours in just eight weeks!
Youth enjoyed 32 programs over the summer, from storytimes to interactive STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) storytelling events that left the city’s
youngest scientists laughing in delight after being sprayed with a water cannon. Our wonderful group of 43 youth volunteers contributed 1,146 hours helping out at the library registering patrons for SRP, preparing crafts for storytimes, cleaning and re-shelving books, and guiding patrons during the Wonderful Wednesday events.
