Magento 2 Custom Theme Create and Apply

Step 1 : Go to this path : vendor\magento\theme-frontend-luma

Step 2 : Copy "composer.json", "registration.php", "theme.xml"

Step 3 : Open composer.jeson file and change name : ("name": "CP/kitchenonlinestore"),

Step 4 : Open registration.php file and apply your theme path  ('frontend/Vandor/themename',)

Step 5 : Open theme.xml file and change title name (Vandor themename)

Step 6 : Go to this path and copy media folder : (vendor\magento\theme-frontend-luma) and pate this folder in your theme folder.

Step 7 : Open ADMIN panel

Step 8 : Content > Configration and Edit "Default Store View" Applied Theme Select your theme name. and Save Configration

Step 9 : Run this code : rm -rf pub/static/frontent

Step 10 : Run this code : rm -rf var/cache page_cache view_preprocessed

Step 11 : Deply your theme : php -dmemory_limit=6G bin/magento setup:static-content:deploy -f

Step 12 : Cache clean : php bin/magento cache:clean

Step 13 : Go to app/design////web/css/ Create "custom.css" file

Step 14 : Go to app/design////Magento_Theme/layout/ Create new XML "default_head_blocks.xml" and open this xml file and paste below code.


Step 15 : Cache clean : php bin/magento cache:clean

Now open your browser and start your custom theme.
