Nobody likes Running but it is a great way to stay in shape.
If you’re like me, then you probably fell off the exercise band wagon this past holiday season.
Don’t worry, I am here to help you get back to running in a fun way!
January – Interactive Running Log
I have created a Running Log for the month of January to get you back on track.
This is not your average, run-of-the-mill running log. Oh no!
It is more like a roadmap in a sense so you can see how many days you stayed on track and how many miles you ran throughout the month.
Once you complete your running for the day, write how many miles you ran and then color in the square for that day. There is a square for each day of January ( 31 squares).
You can use whatever you want to color the square in. This is where the fun is at with this running log!
If you skip out on running for that day, then you don’t get to color in the square.
At the end of the month, you can count the number of days you ran and tally up how many miles your ran for the entire month.
It’s a fun way to keep track of your running throughout the month!
Why I Created This Running Log
I essentially wanted to get back into running again. In face, I use to be able to run a mile having no problem Now that I have slipped and stopped working out due to life, I need something to help motivate me.
Having the normal running log where you literally “log” your miles, calories, and time was getting too boring for me.
I needed something where I can physically see my progress.
There’s nothing more motivating than actually seeing your progress throughout the month of running with this Interactive Running Log.
Resources to Stay On Track
Here some of the resources I use to help me stay on track with my running so you can too.
- Discbound Notebook: I am absolutely in love with this notebook. I bought this notebook a month ago to try a new way of organizing my life and I cannot rave enough about it. It is a completely different system than any other notebook. You can place sheets anywhere you want like a 3-ring binder but they are more secure and it is a lot easier to use. I like the 8.5×11 size but they also offer smaller sizes for you to take with you on the go. You can purchase your copy here from Amazon.
- Arc Desktop Paper Punch: This paper punch will allow you to place anything you want in the discbound notebook. You can get yours here.
My Goal for January
At the start of this new year, I have made myself a goal of being able to run or walk a mile a day.
Having this goal will help motivate me to get back in shape.
I am also giving you my running log template to get ready for a 5K!
Ready to get started!
