One of the most awaited of all Bajaj upcoming bikes in India, the Pulsar NS 150 should launch here by Aug-Sep 2017.
Pulsar NS 200 is the bike that showed Bajaj’s can make sports bikes.

However, KTM 200 Duke was its base for NS 150. Having less displacement means not only will it have less power and it is light too.

Bajaj is looking at offering the same engine in a new cruiser model in upcoming bikes in 2017. The Avenger is currently available in the 150cc model and 220cc model engines.

The Avenger brand may not be there for the new 400cc cruiser or it may get a sub-brand name under Avenger.

Hero:
Hero Xtreme 200S |

The Hero Xtreme was unveiled at the 2016 Auto Expo. Though the model was still a prototype, Hero MotoCorp is planning to launch the motorcycle by the first half of 2017 in upcoming bikes segment.

The Hero design seems like an evolution of the current Xtreme Sports though it gets a number of aggressive styling cues.

Both headlamp and tail lamp integrate LED. The alloy wheels get a new design. The instrument is made of an analog tachometer and a digital display.

 Hero Hastur

The New Hero Hastur motorcycle bike is stacked on a yellow light frame steel tube-chassis and an aluminum body frame, which also extends to the swing arm and provides a raw appeal to the motorcycle.

The huge sculpted tank complements the minimalist bodywork and blends in smoothly with the seat.

The Hero Hastur is powered by a four-stroke 620cc twin engine which produces 79BHP and 72Nm-torque.

The liquid-cooled engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. With a curb weight of 160kgs, the engine is capable of propelling the Hero Hastur to 240kmph, with the initial sprint to 100kmph taking just 3.8 seconds.

Hero New Impulse 200/250:

Estimated Price Rs 80,000 – Rs 85,000

Hero MotoCorp has discontinued the Impulse brand model and is now working on a new bigger engine capacity Impulse bikes. Soon we will able see the Hero Impulse.

The TVS Akula concept was showcased at the Auto Expo-2016 and it was surprised by everyone.

This Upcoming bikes Built to commemorate 33 years of TVS Racing, this all out track tool has been developed to be a winner on the track.

It is Wrapped in a carbon fiber body, the TVS Akula has been built on the platform with BMW G310 R.

Even though the road ready version has not been unveiled yet, it has been spotted testing. we can also tell that the motorcycle will keep most of its styling features headlights in place of air ducts.

The Akula has been built on the BMW G310R platform. It gets a liquid-cooled 313cc single cylinder petrol mill mated to a six-speed manual gearbox.

The BMW bike developed an engine which develops 34BHP power and 28Nm torque.

The concept bike holds adjustable suspension with steering damper to stress on its track, which won’t make it to the road-ready version bike.

The Yamaha MTroad fighter version of YZF-R3 supersport motorcycle and is the 4th model in the MT Series range.

A compact and easy to use a motorcycle, the MT-03 will lock horns with the bike likes of the Kawasaki-Z250, Benelli-TNT 300 and the KTM Duke-390.

The headlamp and sculpted fuel tank and the air intakes of the MT-25 have been designed along with the lines of higher MT series motorcycles.

This upcoming bike has an open parallel-twin engine and the semi-trellis steel frame makes the motorcycle’s hooligan character.

A majority of its components of MT-03 from the rear section, suspension, brakes and the exhaust has been shared with the R3 Series model.

Suzuki: Gixxer 250: – Estimated Price Rs 1.5 lakh – Rs 1.8 lakh

Suzuki will be riding in the new GSX250R in our two-wheeler market by late 2017.

The bike is already on sale in international markets and is expected to be assembled in India to keep cost low with an estimated price between Rs 3 lakh and Rs 3.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new motorcycle is likely to be renamed as Gixxer 250 when it is launched in India and will be the second 250cc motorcycle from Suzuki in India after the Suzuki Inazuma which has been discontinued.

Technical Specifications

The Suzuki GSX250R will compete against parallel-twin motorcycles like the Yamaha R3, Kawasaki Ninja 300 and the soon to be launched Benelli Tornado 302R.

The design of the upcoming bikes 250cc is based on the flagship litre-class Suzuki GSX-R1000. The fully-faired styling should appeal to the youngsters who will be the main target audience for the bike.

The Suzuki GSX-250R looks like a competent touring option also as it gets raised clip-on handlebars and centre-set footpegs for a relaxed riding posture and the tall windscreen provides protection from wind blast at higher speeds.

GSX250R has a 6-speed transmission, with features like reverse-lit, LCD instrument panel, a bright good halogen headlight and LED lamps and taillight.

KTM RC250 is a quarter liter sports bike, specially made for the south Asian markets, except India.

Although it is made in India only, the bikes on sale in the country include the RC-200 and RC-390 Models only.

The 248.8cc, single cylinder engine is good for 30.87 BHP and 24 Nm of torque. It weighs just 147 kg and shares all the parts with the RC390.

KTM offers as standard while the Indian RC-200 comes without the provision of ABS system. It rivals model like Honda CBR250R and Kawasaki Ninja 250 SL internationally.

CBR300R:

Honda unveiled the 2014 CBR 300R, for the first time, at the China International Motorcycle Trade Exhibition in mid-October 2013.
It was once again exhibited at the EICMA-2013 show at Milan, Italy.
The CBR 300R is a bigger version of the CBR 250R. The length of the CBR 300 R is 2035 mm, width is 720mm and height is 1120mm. When we compare it to the CBR 250 R, the length is increased by 3 mm, width is same and height has decreased by 7mm. Honda has also increased the wheelbase of CBR300 by 13mm to 1380mm.
The ground clearance of both Honda models CBR 300R and CBR 250R is the same, as 145mm.
Both the bikes get the same wheels- 110/70-17M/C for the front and 140/70-17M/C at the rear.

Honda CB650F

Honda CBR650F is an online-4, 648cc motorcycle producing 85.28BHP @ 11000 rpm and 62.9 Nm @ 8000 rpm.
Honda CBR comes with a six-speed gearbox and his rivals Kawasaki Ninja 650 and Benelli TNT 600i around its segment.

It is the most expensive one out of all, selling for a price tag of INR 7,30,000.

The bike-CBR comes with a top speed of 222kmph and weighs almost same equal to the other rivals models at 215 kg.

It has a limited 133 mm off the ground. Honda recently cut downed the price of CBR650F, it is now available for INR 6.57 lakhs.

Royal Enfield:

The upcoming RE Himalayan 750 will be re-worked on chassis to accommodate the powerful engine.

This street bike famous for its high-end performance and renamed as Tornado 300 for the Indian local market.

The Tornado 302 shares its engine with 300, which offers 36 BHP of max power and 27 Nm of peak torque.

Tornado sports a low handlebar justifying its track racing design, It has an important addition in the form of ABS.




Hyosung GD250R: – Hyosung GD250R: -Estimated Price Rs. 2 – 2.5 lakh

Hyosung GD250R is an upcoming bike fully faired 250cc sports bike from the Korean manufacturer.

GD250R carries a single cylinder with a 249cc engine, producing 27.6BHP and 24.17Nm of torque.

It comes with a Six-speed gearbox and weighs just 155kgs.

GD250R comes with a new sporty design and claims a top speed of 140kmph.

Once launched, it would rival the models like Honda CBR250R and Benelli TNT250 in the Indian market.

Indirect rivals are Mahindra Mojo and Bajaj Dominar 400. It would get a price tag of under INR 2 lakh.
