How to refer WebLogic Credential Store map and key in a Web Service client in an SOA Composite

In one of my previous post about storing credentials inside WebLogic, I have explained how to store the web service dependent username and password inside WebLogic server using Credential Store Framework. In this section, I have explained how to access the credential store in a Web Service client in an SOA composite. By referring the WebLogic credential store, we eliminate hard-coding the username and password in the composite.

In the Below SOA composite, I have referred a SOAP service called CountryWS  in the composite.XML file

1. Right click on the composite and select Configure SOA WS Policies

2. Click on the blue plus icon and select Oracle/wss_username_token_client_policy, and click Ok

Note: The security policy selection is depend on how your web service is defined. 

3. Now select the security policy and click on the pencil icon to edit it. Refer your WebLogic credential store and Map the CSF.map and CSF-key. That’s it, deploy the SOA composite and test it.

Note: In the older version, the csf.map won’t show. Entering CSF-key itself enough. Refer screen 4 in the following link
