This Autumn, MG the Chinese owned car brand will launch its very first fully Electric car – the MG ZS EV. The ZS is a practical, compact SUV with a full-sized boot and room for five.
Since launch in November 2017, MG ZS has only been available in petrol guise, with prices starting from just a budget friendly £12,495 for an SUV with plenty of tech and a 7-year warranty.
Later this year the petrol version will be joined by its zero emissions electric equivalent. The model will enable MG to take on the Kia e-Niro and Hyundai Kona in the growing Electric Suv segment.
Daniel Gregorious, Head of Sales & Marketing at MG commented;
“With the launch of our MG ZS electric SUV we’re delighted to be entering the electric car market at such an exciting time. With all the practicality and versatility of a compact SUV, ZS means electric without compromise.
With MG’s trademark value-for-money approach, we’re confident that we can help more and more new car buyers to go electric”.
The MG ZS EV will be launched in the UK in autumn 2019. Full details, including pricing and specification, will be released closer to launch.
