Most of these 60’s Tower blocks no matter what part of the Country they are in should all be demolished, they are practically unfit for human habitation in many cases.
The outside and the interior communal areas are regularly vandalised by not only visitors to the area but by tenants themselves, bin room’s overflowing with garbage because of blocked chutes, rubbish and sometimes furniture thrown from balconies onto car parks or grassed areas, main communal entrance Doors Damaged by vandals, fire doors damaged, squatters and drug users loitering in passage ways and stairwells leaving their used needles on stairs and window ledges, lifts vandalised and used as toilets, CCTV cameras smashed, and more than a few suicides when people decide leaping from these buildings is the quickest way to end it all.

Lord Bob now retired only voiced his opinion like we are all entitled to do…so what can he do about this bill?…Nothing!
One of the strongest attacks on the government in a Guardian article it says, I find that really amusing, Labour are the one’s who fear transparency, scrutiny and challenge under this new leadership, a leadership that insists all its MPs keep all their opinions that are not to the liking of the leadership firmly to themselves…or else!
This bill is fair to all trade unionist and what Lord Bob says is just pointless empty rhetoric, Labour have nothing to go on except disarmament, they go on about getting rid of Trident and putting about 40 to 50 thousand trade Union members out of work, while at the same time sucking up to the unions, it’s ridiculous.
Labour is about as effective as the Green Party, they have no Political Clout, no decisive policies, they are ineffective and weak, an opposition who without union funding would fold within days, they present no threat to the Conservative government at a time when the country needs a strong Opposition Labour Fails on all counts.

The absence of an independent media and any scrutiny of the current corrupt Tory shower is a bigger problem.

You have to be kidding. Benn kept his job and he was the most outspoken voice against Corbyn on Syria. The MPs who were sacked were sacked, not because they disagreed, but because they openly slagged off their leader in public, rather than debating the issues. You are witnessing the beginning of the end of democracy in this country and seem to be lapping it up.
The economy is stagnant and dead, Osborne has failed against all his targets, Hunt is at war with the NHS, IDS' great plan to oppress the poor is costing billions more than it saves and charities have announced that, within the rental housing sector, we are at 1960s levels of poverty and desperation. This is what the Tories are protecting: the right to bring this country to it's knees, by crippling the poor (and, eventually, when it's too late for them to notice, the middle classes) and transferring public debt to private debt (At it's highest EVER level), thereby transferring public money to private hands and making the rich 5% much, much richer.

You know perfectly well that Hillary Benn kept his position on the front bench because he had strong support from his colleagues and that Jeremy Corbyn had no choice but to retain him, otherwise there would have been resignations that would have put Jeremy’s leadership in a extreme negative position, lets face it he’s only hanging in there by the skin of his teeth.

You are right there. it’s a calamity for the country and most have blinded themselves to it all.
