At this point in time the EU is neither a success or failure but an institution in the process of development, the European Union is the future, it may be Making Horrendous Mistakes but nonetheless it unites people and Brings Countries Closer together by trying to find a democratic and peaceful solutions for all of us to live together in peace, equality of opportunity and prosperity.
We have to let go of the past, a bleak and dark past for so many, a past that humanity in many cases should be deeply ashamed of, yet on the other hand there are numerous achievements in many different fields of science and other fields to be immensely proud of.
Human nature is fickle, yet it possesses a strange ability to survive and succeed when we all work together for the same aims, and thats what the EU will eventually achieve, success and equality for all.
But its going to be a long and bitter struggle.
Bear in mind millions of people in this world possess absolutely nothing, no money, no education, no medical care or maybe not even a home, nothing comes easy for these unfortunate people, for many in impoverished Countries the time is spent day after day even late into the night in just one hard long and tiresome slog, nothing but toil and struggle just so they can survive for another day.More...

Yep that just about sums up the life of your Mr and Mrs Average in the UK...
Rents rising as demand increases due to another 360,000 walking in over the previous 12 months.... Have nothing left to save at the end of the month due to wage depression.
Driving miles and the long and tiresome slog,to take the kids to school when there is one 300 yards away that you were refused because 'OTHERS ' needs were higher...
struggle just to survive for another day........... Until June ...
Then BREXIT and reduce the 5 million here by half and watch the rents fall and school places come available....
Go hug a tree and feel good about life... Were dying out in the real world
BREXIT BREXIT BREXIT

Great sentiment, but why should sentiment be unconnected to cause and effect?
Take education and training. Why should governments spend money training their youth if instead you can buy in expertise, or have your trained citizens poached by countries like the UK? Further why should 'residents' (since citizenship will be valueless) seek to spend their money on others education?
These excellent intentions result in a situation where each individual is incentivised to consider their own welfare before the mass of everyone else, which will be unrestricted in any sort of boundary.
Further we could look at the environment. The EU is of course very keen on environmental rules, but is keener on ignoring the biggest source of damage, human development. The left seem very happy to move people to the EU and concrete over ever more of our countryside - is there any area of the EU that should be protected, even if migrants want to live their?

But the thing is, it is driving the people of Europe apart in its aim of trying to unite as many people as possible in as short a time as possible. Also can the EU be really seen as democratic when in the past it has refused to recognise votes against it and is now stating that the UK must be punished, face sanctions and be totally ostracised for even thinking about leaving.

Labour supporters are in favour of European unity? In which case they should vote Brexit. The EU is a recipe for a Europe-wide civil war of epic proportion.

That doesn't make any sense. How would being in or out of the EU affect such things? Even without specifying a future relationship with the EU you can see that it’s irrelevant.
