Bill Johnson to Waldo Walks
I appreciate you interaction, and I respect you opinion.
Why do you think I should speak to a Sheik?
Maybe you think such a person could teach me more about leading a good life and the Islamic way of life in general.
I’m willing to Listen to anyone on any subject, but if you really think about it, the type of person you refer to usually doesn’t listen to you, they usually just talk at you, and not with you.
Some of these preachers possess a narcissistic streak, they just ramble on parrot fashion with chapter and verse in a monotonous way that they have perfected over the years, and in many instances when expressing their thoughts regards their Religion it bears no resemblance to reality, logic or reason.
The problem with this type of person and it doesn’t matter what religion they espouse from, is that they come out with the same old story time after time, and in the majority of case’s it’s nothing more than fallacy.
No so called scholar of any denomination could convince me that there is a supreme being who Created life, or in fact created the whole universe, but that’s just me and I’m happy with it.
It is of course wise for all people to study scripture and broaden their outlook on life, but they should not allow it to be the main guide that takes them on the journey through their lives, because that could leave them fearful, confused and indecisive and therefore diminish any prospects they may have of a happy and successful future.
The only people who profit from this are the Priests, Mullahs and Rabbi’s, check out their life styles and compare it to the lifestyle of most of those people they preach to.
I understand you want me to read 4:92.
I understand it to mean that in some religions you can kill an unbeliever, but not a believer.
You take care and best wishes.
