Linking your Aadhar card with the documents like bank accounts, passports, mobile numbers and many other has become mandatory. And also it comes with some benefits attached to it. Thus, it becomes necessary to link your pension accounts also.
How to do the same, is the most frequent question asked. So here are the steps given on how to do it, you just need to follow them.
For those who are not familiar with computers
In many parts of India, people are still not aware of how to use a computer system. Therefore, EPFO has made it possible for the pensioners to link their Aadhaar cards offline.
Take the EPF Aadhaar Seeding Application Form, fill all your details. Now submit it to the EPFO office. Along with the self-attested copies of your UAN, PAN, and Aadhar, submit it to the office.
As soon as your details got verified, your aadhar number will be linked to the EPF account. You will get a confirmation message on your mobile number or e-mail.
For those who are familiar with computers
You can easily link your aadhar card online, you first have to log in to the EPFO Unified EPF portal by using your UAN number and password login. Once you log in, from the drop-down option, click on KYC option.
After this, you have to fill in the bank details, Aadhar, Passport, PAN details, Election Card, Ration Card, Driving License.
Next, you have to fill your aadhar number and name, exactly the same as it is written on your aadhar card. Click on save.
There can be a possibility of some problems, like a mismatch in names or service issues, try to solve the problem immediately as it may become an obstacle while updating.
Once you are done with the saving process, you can view it under pending KYC option. As soon as your details got verified, you will get an update status saying “Approved KYC”.
These were the two ways you can link your aadhaar to EPF.
