If you want to check your aadhaar status after update request is submitted

UIDAI has made it very convenient to check your aadhaar card status online. In case you have not received your aadhaar card or you want to check the status of your aadhaar’s application. There are two ways to do that.

With acknowledgment slip

After you submit your aadhar application you’ll get an enrolment slip. The slip mentions an enrolment id and also date and time when your Acknowledgment Slip was made.

To check the aadhar card’s status you should know your enrolment id and also the exact date and time (both Enrolment Id and date/time should contain 14 digits each).

For instance, your acknowledgment slip was made on 8 September 2016 at 07:11:26, so the 14 digits will be written as 08/09/2016 07:11:26.

Go to UIDAI website and visit the Check Aadhaar Status Page. Enter both the 14 digit sets and you can check the status easily.

Without acknowledgment slip

If you don’t have your acknowledgment slip with you, don’t worry you can still recover the required information from the UIDAI’s website. All you need to do is, visit the page and click on ‘Find UID/EID option’.

There is an option available to recover the 28 digit Enrolment Number, click on the same and fill all the details asked.

An OTP will be sent to your registered e-mail id or mobile number. Enter the OTP and click on verify option.

Once your OTP gets verified, you will receive your Enrolment Id and date/time. By using the same you can check your aadhaar status with the method explained above.

There are some other ways you can use to check the aadhar status.
