NYC Next RCV Bronx City Council Special Elections

The next New York City, Rank-Choice-Voting (RCV) Special Elections is for, Open Seats on the City Council, in the Bronx's Districts 11th and 15th, on March 23rd, 2021.

The 11th District Contest was triggered by former Councilmember, Andrew Cohen’s Resignation in December 2020, after he was Elected to be a Judge in Bronx.

The 11th District Candidates:

Carlton Berkley, The People's Party

Eric Dinowitz, Your Bronx Voice Party

Jessica Haller, New Leadership Party

Mino Lora, Justice for All Party

Daniel Padernacht, Community First Party

Kevin Pazmino, Patriot Party

The 15th District Contest was triggered by former Councilmember, Ritchie Torres, who went on to Win the 15th Congressional District Seat after Representing the Council District for Seven years. Torres was Sworn into Office on January 1st, 2021.

Ischia J. Bravo, We Matter Party

Elisa Crespo, Jobs & Justice Party

Oswald Feliz, People United Party

Bernadette Ferrara, Fifteen Forward Party

Ariel Rivera-Diaz, Second Choice Party

John Sanchez, Community First Party

Altagracia Soldevilla, People First Party

Early Voting Period is: March 13th, 2021 - March 21st, 2021. Election Day is Tuesday, March 23, 2021. Polls are Open from 6am to 9pm.
