Samsung will reportedly put the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge up for pre-order on Feb. 21, the same day they are expected to be announced. Lining up with previous reports, the phones will supposedly launch on March 11. It is also said that Samsung will be throwing in an interesting free item.
According to Android World (translated from Dutch), customers pre-ordering between February 21 and March 10 will be able to get a free Gear VR headset:
In addition, users who place orders from February 21 to March 10 will receive a free Gear VR. To receive these glasses you need to register through a special action page from Samsung, and they will be delivered later.
At this time, it's unclear as to where Samsung will offer the Gear VR. While they could offer it worldwide, they could also limit it to, for instance, Europe.
The Galaxy S7 and S7 edge will also reportedly only ship in 32GB configurations in the Netherlands. Both phones are expected to make their debut at Samsung's Unpacked event on February 21, just ahead of Mobile World Congress 2016.
