The case of Gal Gadot’s roommate who was allegedly raped by IDF soldier, Yaniv Nahoum, has gotten even stranger and possibly more deadly.  There is a coterie of pro-Israel trolls who’ve organized to doxx the Victim.  The chief organizer of the doxx campaign has approached numerous Israeli publications to titillate them with interest in exposing the victim.  Several of the journalists responded expressing interest and that’s only what can be seen publicly.  No doubt journalists approached him (one has to assume anyone who would doxx a rape victim is a “him”) via DM to explore the story further.

Every journalist approached by this disgusting louse should be put on notice: if you coöperate in any way with the doxxer or the doxxer’s story, whether or not you actually expose the identity of the victim–you are at best being immoral and at worst committing a crime, likely even under extremely permissive Israeli law.  The victim has already gone radio silent to avoid the death threats she’s received.  Identifying her in any way shape or form would put a bull’s-eye on her back and you would be responsible.

The doxxer has made clear that his campaign is motivated solely by one consideration: pro-Israelism.  He sees Gal Gadot as an emblem of Israel and the attempt to tear down Gadot as an attempt to destroy Israel.  The minute the victim included criticism of Gadot for her support of Israeli war crimes in Gaza, was the minute her rape claim became a lie to him.  It’s a strange pathology only someone specializing in abnormal psychology might understand.

Naturally, I agree with the victim’s criticism of Gadot’s politics.  But even if I didn’t, no one gets to attack a rape victim for how she portrays her rape and those who facilitated it in any way.  No one gets to impeach her credibility by noting she’s chosen to remain anonymous.  No one can understand the sheer terror of both rape itself and dealing with its aftermath.

In this case, the victim links Gadot’s cruelty toward her when she confided in her that she had been raped, with the actress’ cruelty in supporting the murder of 2,300 Gazans (including hundreds of children) during 2014’s Operation Protective Edge.  If the victim sees Gadot that way and links those two elements, no one may deny her this right.  I feel the same way about Holocaust victims–and George Soros is a perfect example.  As a victim of the worst crime in modern history, no one gets the right to attack Soros for the way he survived the World War II (not that there was anything wrong in the way he did survive).

On a related matter, Nahoum has completely taken down the 2,100 photos in his Flickr account.  That’s likely because he had one album called “Milano” dating from 2006.  I strongly suspect there are pictures in that album which would either confirm his friendship with Gadot during that period, identify his then girlfriend known pseudonymously as “Ayala,” or possibly include other women he either raped or abused.  He couldn’t possibly be stupid enough to have uploaded a pic including the victim, though you never know.  I sent him a message via his Facebook account asking to include his response to the charges in my post.  He didn’t respond.

I am extremely constrained in what I can say here in order to do my best to protect the victim.  Normally, I would say more about what I know. But I can’t in this situation.  I also warn anyone commenting in this thread that if you choose to be an asshole and reveal information I’ve avoided including here, I will come down on you like a ton of bricks.
