President Trump’s use of Twitter is one of the most controversial parts of his presidency. His tweets have often been used to attack people or organizations he doesn’t like or with whom he disagrees. Whether it was the media, members of Congress, members of his own administration, or other world leaders, many have been on the receiving end of the president’s disapproval via Twitter. However, Twitter has enabled him to form a strong connection with his supporters. He has bypassed the mainstream media with Twitter and talks directly to the people.
With everything that comes with President Trump’s use of social media, in general, and Twitter, in particular, a question comes to mind. Has President Trump’s use of social media to bypass the mainstream media been good for the country?
