New Hampshire News: Indictment of Richard Ellison for the 2005 Murder of Robert McMillan

Concord, NH – Jan. 20, 2019 – New Hampshire Attorney General Gordon J. MacDonald and Concord Police Chief Bradley Osgood announce the indictment of Richard Ellison, age 45, of Concord, for First Degree Murder and Second Degree Murder for causing the death of Robert McMillan, age 85 of 284 N. State Street, Concord on December 9, 2005.

On January 17, 2019, Mr. Ellison was indicted by the Merrimack County Grand Jury on one count of First Degree Murder for knowingly causing the death of Robert Mcmillan in perpetrating arson by starting a fire which unlawfully damaged the property of another and resulted in the death of Robert McMillan, and one alternative count of Second Degree Murder for recklessly causing the death of Robert McMillan under circumstances manifesting an extreme indifference to the value of human life by starting a fire at the residence of Robert McMillan.
