South Carolina News: Florence Resident, Shanteley Latrice Howard Sentenced to Federal Prison for Manufacturing and Passing Counterfeit Money

Florence, South Carolina – United States Attorney Sherri A. Lydon announced today that Shanteley Latrice Howard, 33, of Florence, South Carolina, was sentenced to federal prison for conspiracy to manufacture and pass counterfeit money.

Evidence presented to the court showed that Howard was involved in a conspiracy to manufacture and pass counterfeit $100 and $50 bills in multiple states, including South Carolina and North Carolina. This conspiracy, which began in 2015, included at least nine co-conspirators who were responsible for making and passing over $100,000 in counterfeit money.
