Connecticut News: Citizen of the Dominican Republic, HUGO TEJEDA Sentenced to 57 Months in Prison for Trafficking “Black Tar” Heroin

Connecticut – John H. Durham, United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that HUGO TEJEDA, 26, a citizen of the Dominican Republic last residing in Waterbury, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Victor A. Bolden in Bridgeport to 57 months of imprisonment for trafficking “black tar” heroin.

According to court documents and statements made in court, in August 2015, the Drug Enforcement Administration received information that an individual was in possession of approximately 1.5 kilograms of “black tar” heroin from Mexico and was searching for a buyer.
