The CWE Shake Shack Has Finally Arrived

Long Anticipated High End Burger Joint Comes to St. Louis

St. Louis, MO/December 12, 2017 (STL.News) – Local St. Louis native Danny Meyer has finally successfully kept his promise to bring his infamous Shake Shack home.  The highly awaited restaurant known for offering flat iron grilled burgers and hot dogs, crinkle-cut fries, shakes, and frozen custard concretes has finally opened its doors.

This morning at 11:00 a.m. the new restaurant made its official launch in the Central West End at 32 North Euclid Avenue.  Meyer opened his first Shake Shack inside a small kiosk in New York City’s Madison Square Park over 12 years ago.  The wildly popular burger and shake chain now has more than 100 stores around the world.

Here in the states, there are Shake Shacks in 18 states and the District of Columbia (which has six).  Chicago has four, Texas has seven, and Pennsylvania five.  The trendy chain is also highly regarded all over Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and London. Tokyo and South Korea each have four.  Even Moscow has three.  All together the company has a total of 50 international locations.

St. Louisans can now say they have their very own high end fashionable burger joint.  Meyer mostly credits his memories of foods he loved as a kid growing up in St. Louis for his inspirations.  Many of the menu items you’ll see have their own correlations to his beloved hometown.  Steak ‘N Shake is the inspiration for the burgers, Fitz’s for the crinkle cut fries and root beer, and Ted Drewes for the frozen custard concretes.  Don’t be surprised to even see a gooey butter cake concrete on the menu.

The Missouri native is now one of the most respected restaurateurs in the nation.  Shake Shack has itself been critically acclaimed for its use of 100-percent antibiotic and hormone-free Angus beef and localized menus that include sustainably sourced ingredients.  They are also praised for their use of recycled and sustainable materials, energy-efficient kitchen equipment, and LED lighting in its restaurants.
